The Hepatitis B virus (HBV), the 10th leading cause of death worldwide, is one of your body’s greatest enemies. It attacks your liver and causes liver inflammation, hardening, and scarring. This can lead to liver cancer and death.

Up to 500,000 Chinese die every year of HBV-related diseases. WCO is starting a Hepatitis B Vaccination Project aimed at the tens of millions of school-aged children who are neglected by the nationwide infant HBV vaccination efforts. read more
